Delicious Millionaire's brownies from Hearts Kitchen were brought over to the crew of Cornwall Air Ambulance whilst we were attending a patient in the area. Being connoisseurs of the brownie we unanimously voted these the best we've ever had. If you're in the area pop into the cafe and try one for yourself, you definitely won't regret it. Thanks to the team at HK!
Always a friendly welcome and great coffee (and sometimes a cheeky cake) - had a little brekkie today and it was fab - Eggs cooked to perfection makes such a difference - great quality bacon too - And always a happy friendly team
Awesome Breakfast and lovely mug of tea. The staff was all super friendly and welcoming I'll be visiting again real soon.
The food was really nice and hot, hot chocolate was real nice, staff were friendly, atmosphere was nice and the views out the back are lovely. They do vegetarian and vegan breakfasts along with gluten free options. Definitely will go again.
Best breakfast we've had in a long time. Food was fresh and not swimming in grease. The staff were lovely and we weren't sat waiting ages for our food. Would highly recommend and will be back for another visit soon.
For a small village cafe, this place ticks all the boxes. I started going here a couple of years back, just after lock down. I found an amazing array of cakes and delicious cafe food. I believe that most of what is on offer is home made. The cakes are always different and always amazing. Some of the best cheesecake I've tasted has been here. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Even if it is really hectic and busy, which it can get. It is very popular. The views over the river are lovely and in nice weather there is outside seating to enjoy too. Inside you have nice views and loads of local crafts and arty things you can buy as well. It just feels really welcoming. I have spent a fair bit of time sat there "working" on my laptop whilst enjoying a hot drink and some good grub. It is even dog friendly. So you can take your furry friend along to enjoy the atmosphere too. I would recommend this place any time. It even has better opening hours than a lot of places in Torpoint. Well done Hearts. Recent update - Had their chicken club sandwich recently. It was delicious. All the ingredients were lovely and fresh and it came with some nice chips.
Sat in on delightful terrace garden overlooking Tamar waterfront and Plymouth, plus as a bonus both the 2 bridges to Cornwall. Anyway the second was friendly, great full breakfast menu and amazing array of cakes.
A real gem! Food was great - especially recommend the breakfast wrap. Service was friendly and welcoming - a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
Visited Hearts Kitchen (1a Fore St.,Torpoint, Cornwall) on Sat (reserved table as usually quite busy). Chose Red Thai sweet potato soup, served with large piece of baguette & croutons. Soup had a cheeky spicey kick to it with a great "hearty" texture. Had generous slice of lemon drizzle cake & pot of tea, glorious. Views of river Tamar superb. Staff are welcoming & toilets well maintained. This gem of a place has both indoor & outdoor seating. Not suitable for wheelchairs due to stair access to toilet. Takeaways & gift vouchers also available, as are gift ideas displayed around venue. Nearby street parking usually available. Highly recommend.
Over the years I have stopped off here several times now, and it has always been superb. The food is delicious and the staff are always warm, friendly and quick to serve. Their coffee is to die for! ...
